In spite of all the existing protection systems the annual damage caused by forgery and shoplifting, in the USA alone, is estimated at tens of billion of dollars. The proposed RF identification systems allow to provide better anti-forgery and anti-theft protection as well as to reduce expenses for labeling individual objects (paper, card or article). The possibility to write invisible coded information, of up to tens of bits, makes the systems competitive with the RFID systems based on microchip labels. The new generation of RF authentication and identification micro label systems is based on different types of physical resonance phenomena such as quadrupolar or mixed electron-nuclear resonance etc. The system allows both simple "Yes-No" identification and detection of coded data (bar code, frequency code, etc.). The micro label is a substance, which possesses a strong specific response to RF excitation. The working frequency depends on the substance used and lies in the band of 10 MHz to several GHz. This substance can be introduced into paint, ink, glue, paper or plastic bulk and is invisible. For high protection levels the substance itself can be protected or masked. The substance cost doesn't exceed 0.1 US cent per label. The reliability of the identification systems is provided by high sensitivity, specific label substances and appropriate signal processing.

This Synchronizer/Scheduler is the heart of the Hypercore Processor. Its role is to guide the Hypercore on which tasks to execute in parallel at any given time. In fulfilling this role, the Synchronizer/ Scheduler is assisted by a description of the dependencies between the tasks called the Task Map. The Synchronizer/Scheduler uses the Task Map for monitoring the tasks that can be allocated to the Hypercore at any given moment. In addition to this monitoring of the state of execution of the program, the Synchronizer/Scheduler also constantly monitors the state of employment of each element of the Hypercore. The allocation of tasks to the Hypercore is done while maintaining perfect dynamic load balance.

Our unique technology allows us to use a pretty simple Task Oriented Programming model. Contrary to other multicore architectures, the programmer of a Hypercore Processor is not required to be aware of the details of the machine, and most importantly
¨C is not required by any means to deal with the mechanisms of managing the parallelism within the machine. All that is required from the programmer in order to program a
Hypercore Processor, beyond what is required when programming a standard unicore processor, is to think in terms of Task-Oriented-Programming, and partition the program into tasks. The body of every task is a sequential code of the traditional sort. This makes the programming model extremely simple in comparison to other parallel programming models, and quite close to the programming model of an ordinary unicore processor. The Hypercore Processor crunches and ingests a blend of different tasks in parallel, subject to their synchronization constraints, automatically, and completely relieves the programmer from managing these occurrences.

The aim of the project is to develop a system to detect birds and other animals on, or above airport runways, and to operate means for driving them away, thus preventing danger to human life and property. The system connects day- and night-time cameras, installed near the runways, to a computer designed to continuously analyze the transmitted pictures. As soon as the cameras record a bird, the computer automatically detects it, and a warning is issued to the operators, and/or flight controllers. A team for removing such potential causes of damage, which today operates at random or upon reports from human observers, would now focus on trouble spots located by the system. The system will greatly reduce economic losses caused by birds colliding with aircraft, and will provide an efficient solution to a well known and severe international problem.
